The Dipjoti Nepal Foundation supports the poorest people of Nepal with money and advice. Because only the suggestions and input of the local people are taken into account, more is achieved than just a new school building or water supply. The projects improve the people’s self-respect and feeling of self-worth.

Dipjoti is the Nepali word for oil lamplight, a symbol of the Dipjoti working method. By raising money, the Dipjoti Foundation provides the oil needed for the lamp and the people provide their energy and power to make it shine.  The foundation works to provide a brighter future for those whose life is hard and poor.
